PLP (Personalized Learning Plans)

Team Shine has introduced the PLP (Personalized Learning Plan) to the students. Our first PLP is for reading. Students personalized their plan for using Achieve3000. The students are focusing on their reading strategies to score at least 75% or higher on the comprehension activities. Now that the students are familiar with the PLP, we will introduce one for writing and math. The PLP's are kept at school in the students 3-ring binder. We will review with the students how to take a picture and upload it into their Google Drive so you can view the PLP at home. Students will monitor their progress and add evidence of their learning to their binders or their Google Drive.  See the sample PLP below. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Student Resources

Hi Families,

A sheet was sent home about the different resources we use in class (email, google drive, moodle, etc.)  These resources will help them access their work that they do at school at home.  We just started using google drive.  Their email and google drive log ins are the same.  We will be showing the students how they can access google drive from the google search engine (versus the app they use at school) so they know how to access from home.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email us!

Duct Tape

The students were very excited to participate in the duct taping of Mr. Hill in congratulations to their fundraising for the Mitchell in Motion program!
